Manufacturing Talk Radio joined Women in Manufacturing at their 2015 Summit in Minneapolis the week for a series of insightful interviews with women who drive manufacturing today. Allison Grealis, Founder & Executive Director of Women in Manufacturing and a past guest on MFG Talk Radio. She is also Vice President of Membership and Association Services for the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA). Allison is a perfect example of a powerful and successful women in the manufacturing industry and is the embodiment of what WiM stands for.

Deb Dedrick, CEO and President of Dedrick Tool & Die, Inc,  has been in charge of managing and operating the precision machine shop since 2000. She bought tool shop business to satisfy her desire to be a manufacturer. Before, purchasing the machine shop, Deb managed, operated and owned several other successful businesses in other industries. She continued to manage these in addition to running the tool  shop. She juggled these responsibilities while raising her four children. She believes relationships are the most important assets we have in life. To learn how to teach other how attain and sustain optimal success in relationships,  in 2012 , she added life coaching to her repertoire of jobs/skills.

Sarah Krasley is a technologist and creative business strategist who focuses on new methods in manufacturing including big data/internet of things, mass customization/personalization, smart factories, and digital product design and production platforms. She has worked in this point of convergence of business, design, and manufacturing for a decade and has had a special focus on sustainability in manufacturing since 2004.

Mary Ann Pacelli has been working in the industry for over 25 years and has been an important asset in all the organizations and businesses she has been a part of. She serves numerous manufacturing companies and assesses their needs by designing and delivering customized programs to improve employee performance. She has a variety of roles and works with many organizations, some of which include Manager, Workforce Development, Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

Haley Stevens is Associate Director of Workforce Development, Digital Manufacturing & Design Innovation Institute and has a keen insight into the development of the future manufacturing workforce. In her current position, Haley coordinates and develops regional and national programs to support the training and education of the current and future workforce in digital manufacturing technologies and processes.

Over 31 years ago, Shark Industries was established in 1983 by Diana Mini and was first located in Chicago, Illinois until 2001. In 2000, Shark began building their new 50,000 square foot manufacturing and warehousing facility in Rockford, Minnesota. Today, Shark manufactures cut-off wheels, flap discs, and converts surface conditioning discs and mini grinding discs at their Rockford facility. In the last 5 years, Shark has purchased 3 new machines to improve the production of their most popular items; as well as to manufacture items that were previously sourced overseas.

Glen Marshall is a valued member of the manufacturing community and has set out on a mission to help promote manufacturing as a desirable career choice. Glenn serves as the chair of strategic planning team for the Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME) that is a leading force behind the promotion of manufacturing careers.
